Pretty in Pink

I am in love with this family, first I go to their house in my favorite part of Edmonton and they have renovated their place exactly how i would want to renovate!!! One of their walls was this gorgeous orange, I swear I could live in a house painted entirely that color. Next I get talking to this momma, and she has this way of talking to you so that you feel super awesome. I mean if my husband only had that gift, lol. Finally I have to tell you all about the kids, I have a special place in my heart for red heads. I can't wait for these two to grow up!





So I have been neglecting the blog lately, but I have an excuse I am SOOOO busy.

Wedded Bliss

I had the pleasure of being invited to capture the reception following Michelle and JJ's Mexico wedding in December 2007. Unlike the rest of the world, who have a little backyard shindig to celebrate, Michelle and JJ had a PARTY (we used to live next door to these two they know how to party). Michelle glowed in ther dress, and some smart person hired a DJ so that JJ couldn't turn the music up. As luck would have it the morning or their reception (all the way out in Lamont) Alberta decidi to get a blizzard, fortunatly Michelle and JJ have friends who party despite the snow and it was a full house. Congratulations again on your marriage, now lets see if you can make a baby 1/2 as cute as Keaton. lol.

6 days old and a redhead to boot!

So one of my newly found work friends finally had her baby. I was lucky enough to get to photograph her sweet daughter at only 6 days old. This family is beautiful, if I didn't like my family so much I think I would try to convince them to adopt me! here is a sneak peak of baby "J".

Joy

Keaton and I got the privilege of visiting the home of newborn K. He really wanted to show the world his beautiful eyes and so he fought sleep for the beginning of the session, but his mom held him and rocked him until he fell asleep! After we finally got him to sleep he was a trooper, he slept through multipul position changes and even slept though Keaton screaming. Unfortunatly Keaton screamed a little too loud right when baby K was asleep on his tummy in my basket. K startled and almost fell into the carpet, luckily dad dived across the floor with no regard for his own safty and he saved his son. Baby K is going to be one lucky kid having such great parents!

Baby Boy

So I finally got the chance to meet baby G and his big sister E this week. We had a session booked for last week then Keaton got sick and we had to reschedule.

So I have back to back sessions tomorrow, I will be so immersed in work that it is doubtfull that I will remember to blog anything other than work stuff for a long time. This means that you all (if there is anyone who reads my blog, lol) get a little snippet of my life tonight. I have been booking weddings like crazy for this wedding season, so you can all look ahead to a fancy pants new wedding website in the New Year.

Price Increases

Hi everyone,



I though I would formally tell you all that as of March 11, 2008 my prices have increased. You can see the new prices on my website. I feel great reluctance increasing my prices because I truly believe great photography should be available to everyone, but I unfortunatly have been so busy that I need to value my time more. I hope I will continue to photograph everyone as spring comes out to play this year! I will leave you with a taste of spring!
