My Parents are Cooler Than Your Parents

So his little shirt says "my parents are cooler than yours" and by looking at D's hair I am inclined to agree!

So I had the time (sort of) to squeeze in some last minute sessions before Christmas hits like a load of bricks. I am in love with C's family, they are all so beautiful! I love how they interact with eachother at every shoot and are not afraid to try things when I ask, even if they think I am a tad daft at times!

As the weather gets colder and I can't hang around outside what is a girl to do but create her own fun? I have been dying to photograph my friend A's tatoos so I called her up the other day and invited her to strip for me and let me photograph her. So she came over and this is the fun we had. I wish I could find my old peircer Jen! Her daughter is about the same age as mine, but Jen had such wicked tatoos (full sleeves) and I would really like to do some tatoo'd mommies and kids portraits! So if you are in the area and you know Jen get her to contact me! Anyhow the bees have landed, but I have no clue how to use them. I need to advertise and get myself out there because I need to start paying for all I buy.

So weddings have been appealing to me lately. I have talked to my friend, wedding photographer Leighsa Smith and i think we might team up to shoot weddings. This is my dream, I will get to share in other peoples love (and hopefully get to express my creative side).

We will end with a picture of me, for a good laugh!

Sweet baby A

So I had the honour of photographing the newborn of one of my friends and maternity clients, baby "A". She was determined not to sleep a wink even though she is only 8 days old. I tried all my tricks (which are considerable because of my other life as a NICU nurse) but she was having none of it. Well we missed a few sweet shots because of the lack of sleep but her photos are beautiful anyways. They are only so little for a shot while. I will love watching you grow up baby "A".
